Reach­ing out to the indoors-weary audi­ence of the COVID era, Water­loo Region sought to express a lib­er­at­ing escape route for trav­ellers, rein­forc­ing its brand as an explo­ration des­ti­na­tion. Visu­al­ly spa­cious, the ads offered fresh breaths of air amidst the stock-pho­to, smi­ley-faced din of typ­i­cal tourism ads.
